On Saturday, January 19, our Yukon Member of Parliament – Ryan Leef hosted the first annual Chili Cook-Off to raise money for the Food Bank. Yukon Energy donates $10,000!

Yukon Energy ran a campaign over December, promising to donate $2 to the Food Bank for every “Like” on their Facebook page. If they reached 2500 people, they said they would double the donation. Although they didn’t quite meet their target, Yukon Energy still generously donated the full amount. Thank you Yukon Energy! It is support like this from the business community and individuals that helps us feed our community!
