The Knights of Columbus representatives visited the Food Bank with a much needed donation of $2500.00. Thanks to everyone that participated in their raffle benefiting the Whitehorse Food Bank and other worthwhile not for profits in Yukon.
On Thursday and Friday May 8 & 9 students from Vanier, FH Collins, Porter Creek Secondary, Whitehorse Elementary and École Émilie-Tremblay greeted residents on Main Street. They offered and Apple as “food for thought” to raise awareness of hunger issues we are facing here in Yukon. They also gave people an information sheet about how they can help be part of the solution.
