Hello fellow Yukoners, Just a reminder that it is the time of year once again, that you are given an opportunity to donate food for the cost of your ourstanding parking tickets 🙂 Until the 15th of December, you can bring unopened, non-perishable groceries to the City of Whitehorse, and have you tickets waived. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all our wonderful community members for hosting and coming up with their own way of doing fundraisers for such a worthy cause!! Every penny helps!!! (We are still doing penny collections) We have been getting calls and donations from mini fundraisers on an individual level, as well as corporations or branches doing their own challenges! It is so wonderful to see such spirit within our Yukon ♥, so THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!!!!

The Whitehorse Food Bank will now be open on Saturdays from 11-3, to give locals an opportunity to volunteer. We can accept donations on this day as well!! For safety reasons, the doors will remain locked, so please prearrange your visit by calling ahead of time, or while you are outside the door!!!
