Whitehorse Food Bank would like to once again thank all the wonderful, generous people of Whitehorse!!! Thanks to all your support, we were able to run a successful ship during the holiday rush!! Handing out mini hams to singles and couples, and turkeys and trimmings to families of 3 or more (even able to make exceptions for some single parents)!! Yukon Mixed Christmas Bazaar!
December 19th 2015, 11am-5pm!!! Gift Wrapping donations will be donated to the Food Bank! Kitchen will catered: portion of proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank! All donated food or toy items (stuff the Food Bank van!) will come to the Food Bank before Christmas!!
HUSKIES play hockey this weekend!
The Huskies are playing this weekend at Saturday at 630 and Sunday at 415 at the Takhini Arena!!! They have generously offered to have a Food Bank donation jar at both their ticket booth, as well as their beer gardens! So don’t miss the Huskies, and don’t forget to support your local Food Bank!!!
