On Saturday, January 19, our Yukon Member of Parliament – Ryan Leef hosted the first annual Chili Cook-Off to raise money for the Food Bank.

Along with Ryan, there were a number of celebrity chefs including: Josh from Earls Whitehorse; Dr. Karen Barnes – President of Yukon College; Hon. David Laxton – Speaker of the Yukon Legislative Assembly; Paul Flaherty – CEO & President of NorthwesTel; Hon. Elaine Taylor – Deputy Premier and Minister of Community Services; Ted Staffen – former Speaker of the Yukon Legislative Assembly; Stu Mackay – President of the Whitehorse Food Bank; and Hon. Vic Toews – Federal Minister of Public Safety.
