If you are a group who would like to give back to your community, Many Rivers and The Whitehorse Food Bank are partnering up to raise awareness and seek help, for those who are less fortunate. FAMILY DAY: A chance for families to come and receive their monthly hamper in a safe calm, child-friendly environment. Every Wednesday from 10am-1pm, we will have special items available. We also have coloring sheets and snacks for kids. As well as, other surprises, when available. More YTG Employees Uniting To Support the Whitehorse Food Bank
YTG departments of Finance and Highways and Public Works got together to raise funds and food for the Whitehorse Food Bank. They raised almost $1900 and brought in hundreds of pounds of food. This is no easy task in the summer months but they did it! It is with deep appreciation that the Whitehorse Food Bank says thank you!

Locally Grown Produce Already Arriving at the Food Bank!
Wow, some peoples gardens and greenhouses are already producing results! It must be the heat, but it is great that people are taking the time to drop stuff off. We were already getting rhubarb, lettuce, arugula, chard and zucchini! The people we help love eating fresh and local, we have never had to throw any of it out!
