Have you ever wondered what happens to the food and toiletry items that air passengers must leave behind because they are not permitted on passenger flights in North America? Well thanks to the G4S Secure Solutions staff for passenger security at Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport those items are coming to the Whitehorse Food Bank. Pictured here is the latest haul delivered by the fine staff at airport security. So yes, you may have lost your maple syrup, peanut butter or canned beans but take comfort in knowing they have gone to a place that will put the items to good use!
