When the Whitehorse Food Bank put out the call to help restock their shelves help came from many directions. The dedicated Quilters at Bear’s paw also stepped up to the challenge. Even though in the summer many in their membership is away enjoying a Yukon summer, the ones that were left made sure they would also get together to help out the Food Bank.

It is in recognition of Bears Paw and all the smaller groups that answered the call that the Whitehorse Food Banks says a big thank you! It all counts, and all the food we received add up to a food bank that can meet the demand of those in need.
